Studio8585 is led by Mario Depicolzuane, a designer and art director. Depending on the nature of the assignment, he either works independently or in small team which is carefully tailored for each project.
Born in Croatia and currently living and working across the globe. Mario began his career working for a design agency Bunch in Zagreb, before starting his own creative practice in 2013. From 2015 to 2017, he worked as a lead designer and art director for Kinfolk and Ouur Media in Copenhagen.
His work has been published in international design publications including Monotone (Victionary), Selected D (Index Book), Graphic Design Inspirations (Daab), On Spot: International Event Design (Sendpoints), Selected C (Index Book), Designing For The Greater Good (HarperCollins), Label & Packaging Design (Zeixs), Designing Your Identity (Promopress), Basic Logos (Index Book), Dotted Visuals (SendPoints).
Over the years, his work has been featured on design blogs, in magazines and newspapers such as IdN Magazine, The Dieline, BP&O, siteInspire, Minimalissimo, FPO: For Print Only, North East, Fonts In Use, Nice!, httpster, Design is Kinky, Losko Magazine, D&D Dom i dizajn, Moja 4 Zida, Novi list, Večernji list, Vjesnik, Livingstone, Palermo Design.
Mario's work has won several international and local awards, including Joseph Binder Award and Mediterranean Design Between Present and Future.
In his spare time, he’s making music under the moniker of Dot White.
